The foliage comprises lush and glossy, dark green leaves which release a mild fragrance when crushed. The foliage is complemented with showy clusters of fragrant, white flowers through spring and summer. It grows compactly with a rounded shape to about 1.5 m tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, sheltered site.
