Cistus crispus, commonly known as Rock Rose, is grown for its pretty flowers in near arid conditions. This variety is evergreen shrub with a rounded, bushy form and bears purple-red, saucer-shaped flowers with yellow stamens. The flowers produced from spring through summer above the soft, mid-green foliage as it grows to 70 cm tall and 1 m wide. Cistus crispus is often used for adding interest and texture to the garden. It is great for including in mixed borders or planting en masse as a single variety or with other Cistus varieties.

Cistus crispus, commonly known as Rock Rose, is grown for its pretty flowers in near arid conditions. This variety is evergreen shrub with a rounded, bushy form and bears purple-red, saucer-shaped flowers with yellow stamens. The flowers don’t last long but are produced from spring through summer above the soft, mid-green foliage.
