Cistus Pink Silk, commonly known as the Pink Rock Rose plant, is able to produce pretty flowers in near arid conditions. This variety bears small, single, pink flowers which have a papery texture. The flowers dont last long but are produced en masse from spring through summer and grace the soft, grey-green foliage. It typically grows to 50 cm tall and 1 m wide, performing best when grown in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of coastal conditions, moderate frost, and extended dry periods. This Pink Rock Rose is commonly used to add interest and texture to the garden. It is great for including in a mixed border, mass planting as a groundcover, or including in rock gardens.
