White Herron Clianthus
Clianthus puniceus White Herron, commonly known as the White Kaka Beak, is a NZ native shrub that produces a flush of stunning, beak like flowers in summer. The showy, white flowers are produced in abundance and literally transform the plant. The mid-green foliage is soft in appearance and provides a pleasant contrast to the flowers as it grows to 3 m tall and 1.5 m wide. Clianthus White Herron is commonly included in a mixed planting, used as a backdrop for smaller plants, grown to soften a bland wall, planted around outdoor living areas, maintained in a container, or mass planted for an impressive display.
