Coprosma Dark Spire is a compact, NZ native shrub that bears small, dark green foliage with bronze undertones. The foliage darkens considerably during winter and is held densely on rigid stems. This evergreen grows with an upright habit to about 1.2 m tall and 80 cm wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is a hardy plant that will tolerate dry periods, frost, cool climates, heavy soils, and coastal conditions.
