Coprosma Lemon and Lime Details

Coprosma Lemon and Lime, commonly known as Variegated Mirror Bush, is a NZ native shrub that carries small and glossy leaves that are variegated green and yellow. The colours are most intense when grown in full sun but also tend to intensify during winter. This evergreen grows compactly to about 1.2 m tall and 1 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained site. This hardy plant will tolerate most soils barring the extremes of wet and dry. It is also tolerant of coastal environments, and moderate wind, but does require protection from heavy frost when young. Coprosma Lemon and Lime is commonly grown as a specimen, trimmed into a hedge, included in a mixed planting, planted around outdoor living areas, or used to brighten a bland wall or dull corner of the garden. It makes for a magnificent specimen when maintained in a container. For hedging space plants 50 cm apart.
