Coprosma repens Pride, commonly known as Mirror Bush, is a NZ native shrub that features small and glossy leaves that are copper-green with yellow and red splashes. During winter the leaves develop orange tones. This evergreen grows upright and compactly to about 1.5 m tall and 1 m wide and can be trimmed as necessary. It performs best when planted in full sun on a well-drained site though it is tolerant of most soil conditions, except at the extremes of wet and dry. It is also tolerant of coastal conditions, moderate frost, and wind. Coprosma Pride is commonly included in a mixed planting, trimmed into a hedge, planted around outdoor living areas such as pools and barbecue areas, or used anywhere an attractive, hardy, and low maintenance shrub is required.
