Coprosma Red Rocks is a showy, NZ native shrub that typically reaches 75 cm tall and 1 m wide. It carries fine, green foliage held on prominent, dark red-brown stems. It performs best when planted in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of most soil conditions, except at the extremes of wet and dry, as well as coastal conditions, moderate frost, and wind. Coprosma Red Rocks makes a stunning addition to any garden and is ideal for adding to a mixed planting, or using anywhere an interesting, architectural feature is desired.

Coprosma Red Rocks Plant Spacing

Coprosma Red Rocks makes a fine addition to a garden. Generally, they are planted to become discrete balls rather than merging. The ideal spacing is 2.5 m apart if you want them to be discrete. At a 1 m spacing the plants will merge and become an effective ground cover.
