Coprosma tenuicaulis, commonly known as Swamp Coprosma or Hukihuki, is a NZ native shrub which has the ability to grow in wet soils and even in water up to 30 cm deep. It has an upright form with black stems that host small, olive-green leaves. It typically grows to 4 m tall and 1.5 m wide and is commonly used in riparian plantings, restoration projects, or for planting in swampy areas.

Coprosma tenuicaulis, commonly known as Swamp Coprosma or Hukihuki, is a NZ native shrub which has the ability to grow in wet soils and even in water up to 30 cm deep. It has an upright form with black stems that host small, olive-green leaves. Small flowers in summer result in black fruits in autumn which are great for attracting birds. It typically grows to 4 m tall and 1.5 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on site with high moisture levels. This shrub is commonly used in riparian plantings, restoration projects, or for planting in swampy areas.
