Coprosma tenuifolia Purpureum is a fast-growing, NZ native shrub featuring glossy, green and purple leaves. The leaves will often develop stronger purple tones as winter sets in. It typically grows to 2 m tall and 1.5 m wide, performing best in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. This evergreen is hardy and will tolerate most soil conditions except at the extremes of wet and dry. It also tolerates coastal conditions, moderate frost, and wind.
