Corydline albertii Chardonnay features strap-like leaves that are variegated with yellow and green stripes. The plant is adorned with clusters of small, perfumed, white flowers in summer as it grows to 2.5 m tall and 1.5 m wide. Cordyline Chardonnay makes a lovely specimen and is commonly planted in clusters, added to tropical gardens, included in mixed plantings, used to line a driveway or entrance, planted to soften a bland wall, or maintained in a container.

Cordyline Chardonnay Details

Corydline albertii Chardonnay is a variety of Cabbage Tree grown for its striking foliage and great form. The strap-like leaves are variegated with yellow and green stripes. The plant is adorned with clusters of small, perfumed, white flowers in summer which are great for attracting birds and butterflies. It typically grows to 2.5 m tall and 1.5 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of frost, dry periods, moderate wind, and cool climates, though will benefit from being protected while it establishes. Cordyline Chardonnay makes a lovely specimen and is commonly planted in clusters, added to tropical gardens, included in mixed plantings, used to line a driveway or entrance, planted to soften a bland wall, or maintained in a container.
