Cordyline Torbay Dazzler is a variety of Cabbage Tree grown for its striking foliage and great form. The strap-like leaves are variegated with cream and green stripes, with new foliage emerging a prominent cream colour. The plant is adorned with clusters of small, perfumed, white flowers in summer which are great for attracting birds and butterflies. It typically grows to 2.5 m tall and 1.5 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of frost, dry periods, moderate wind, and cool climates, though will benefit from being protected while it establishes. Cordyline Torbay Dazzler makes a lovely specimen and is commonly planted in clusters, added to tropical gardens, included in mixed plantings, used to line a driveway or entrance, planted to soften a bland wall, or maintained in a container.
