Coriaria pteridoides, Small Leaved Tutu, Mountain Tutu
Coriaria pteridoides is a NZ native, deciduous shrub that typically grows to 60 cm tall and 1 m wide. It has fern-like leaves which are narrow and pointed. Through summer, small flowers are borne in clusters and are followed by succulent, berries which turn black as they ripen. Coriaria pteridoides is best suited to revegetation projects. Please note: all parts of this plant are poisonous.
