Cornus alba Elegantissima is a deciduous shrub grown for its variegated foliage and colourful stems. The leaves emerge green with a white margin in spring and are held densely. They develop gold, apricot and red tones in autumn before falling to leave behind the vibrant and aesthetic, red stems. It typically grows to 3 m tall and the same wide. Cornus Elegantissima is a great choice for mixed plantings, using as backdrop for smaller plants, growing for winter colour, or planting around outdoor living areas.

Cornus alba Elegantissima is a deciduous shrub grown for its variegated foliage and colourful stems. The leaves emerge green with a white margin in spring and are held densely. They develop gold, apricot and red tones in autumn before falling to leave behind the vibrant and aesthetic, red stems. Cream-white flowers are borne from spring through summer and are followed by small, white berries in autumn. It typically grows to 3 m tall and the same wide though can be trimmed as necessary. Best performance with this shrub is achieved when it is grown in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of frost, cool climates, and short periods of dry. Cornus Elegantissima is a great choice for mixed plantings, using as backdrop for smaller plants, growing for winter colour, or planting around outdoor living areas.
