Cotinus Grace, commonly known as Smoke Tree or Smoke Bush, gets its common name from the billowy hairs left in summer from the spent flower clusters which are pink-purple and resemble a puff of smoke. The attractive foliage emerges red-purple, darkens to a deep purple, then develops red tones in autumn before falling as it grows to 3 m tall and the same wide. Cotinus Grace is commonly grown as a specimen, trimmed into a hedge, maintained in a courtyard or cottage garden, or planted anywhere the vibrancy and beauty of this plant can be enjoyed.
