Cuphea Starfire is a small shrub featuring lush foliage and pretty flowers from spring through until autumn. The dark green foliage is held densely and serves as a lovely backdrop to the masses of purple flowers that are tinged with white and red. It typically grows to 75 cm and the same wide and can be trimmed as necessary. Best performance with this plant is achieved when it is positioned in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, sheltered site protected from heavy frost. Cuphea Starfire is commonly included in mixed and border plantings, maintained in a container, planted around outdoor living areas, included in cottage gardens, or mass planted for a stunning display.
