These are held on the slender, green stems as it grows to about 3 m tall and the same wide. Cytisus multiflorus is commonly included in mixed plantings, grown as an informal hedge, planted on a bank, or used to brighten stark corners.

Cytisus multiflorus Details

Cytisus multiflorus is a deciduous shrub grown for its impressive flowering. Fragrant and pure white, pea-like flowers are produced in such abundance during spring and summer that they transform it into a visual splendour. These are held on the slender, green stems as it grows to about 3 m tall and the same wide. NB: it can be trimmed as necessary. Best results with this plant are achieved when it is planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of coastal conditions, frost, cool climates, wind, and dry periods. Cytisus multiflorus is commonly included in mixed plantings, grown as an informal hedge, planted on a bank, or used to brighten stark corners.
