Masses of raspberry-red, pea like flowers are borne through spring and summer, and transform the plant into a visual splendour. It has slender, green stems which carry small, green leaves which develop yellow tones in autumn before falling. It typically grows to 1.8 m tall and 1.5 m wide, and can be trimmed as necessary.
