Fairy Bamboo, Drepanostachyum falcatum, Drepanostachyum
Drepanostachyum falcatum, commonly known as Fairy Bamboo, is a graceful and popular variety due to its attractive foliage and impressive screening ability. The fern-like foliage is held densely on somewhat wispy stems as it grows to about 3 m tall and 2 m wide. Drepanostachyum falcatum is commonly planted for privacy screening, grown as a backdrop for smaller plants, used as an informal hedge, included in a courtyard garden, or maintained in a container. It is prefect for screening out noise, headlights, and other distractions.
