Elaeagnus Gilt Edge is a vigorous, medium-sized, evergreen shrub renowned for both its foliage and flowers. The leaves are dark green with a yellow margin and new leaves have silvery scales as it grows to 3 m tall and the same wide. Flowers in autumn are small, fragrant, silvery in colour, and are followed by orange berries. Elaeagnus Gilt Edge is commonly used as a screen, trimmed into a hedge, as a backdrop for smaller plants, or included in mixed plantings.
