Escallonia Gold Brian is a popular variety of Escallonia which is renowned for both its attractive foliage and quaint flowers. The foliage comprises glossy, yellow-green leaves which serves as a lovely backdrop to the clusters of small, rose-pink flowers from spring through summer. It is an easily grown shrub with a bushy habit and typically grows to 2 m tall and 1.5 m wide. Escallonia Gold Brian is commonly included in a mixed planting, used as a backdrop for smaller plants, included in cottage gardens, planted around outdoor living areas, or trimmed into a hedge.
