Forsythia Fiesta is grown for its spring flowering and colourful foliage. During spring and before the leaves emerge, bright yellow flowers bathe the plant and make it very eye-catching. The leaves emerge soon after and are variegated dark green and yellow and held on red stems. The foliage develops further yellowing in autumn and falling. It typically grows to 1 m tall and the same wide and can be trimmed as necessary. Best results with this plant are achieved when it is planted in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of frost, cool climates, and periods of dry.
