Fuchsia Julie Horton is an evergreen shrub favoured for its pretty flowers. This Fuchsia becomes smothered in showy, two-tone pink flowers through summer and autumn. The small and glossy, dark green leaves provide a pleasant backdrop to the flowers. It will generally be evergreen but in cooler climates it may be deciduous. It typically grows to 60 cm tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, sheltered site. It will tolerate moderate frost and should not be allowed to dry out during summer. Fuchsia Julie Horton is commonly included in a mixed planting, grown around outdoor living areas, added to a cottage garden, maintained in a container, or planted around the base of large trees. This is a low maintenance and truly rewarding plant.
