Gardenia jasminoides Veitchii, commonly known as the Everblooming Gardenia, is highly prized for its masses of fragrant blooms and glossy, dark green foliage. It bears very showy and sweetly fragrant, white flowers through spring and summer, and typically grows to 1 m tall and the same wide. Gardenia Veitchii puts on the best displays when mass planted but is also effective for planting around larger plants, adding to a mixed planting, growing in a container, planting around outdoor living areas, for tropical gardens, or adding to “white” gardens.

Gardenia jasminoides Veitchii is highly prized for its masses of fragrant blooms and lovely foliage. It grows as a tidy, rounded plant made up of glossy, dark green, rounded leaves. It bears very showy and sweetly fragrant, white flowers through spring and summer. The flowers and foliage contrast beautifully. It typically grows to 1 m tall and the same wide, growing best in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of light frost only and requires shelter from wind. Gardenia Veitchii puts on the best displays when mass planted but is also effective for planting around larger plants, adding to a mixed planting, growing in a container, planting around outdoor living areas, for tropical gardens, or adding to “white” gardens.
