It typically grows to 1.5 m tall and 1 m wide, growing best in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of light frost only and requires shelter from wind. Gardenia Professor Pucci puts on the best displays when mass planted but is also effective for planting around outdoor living areas, adding to a mixed planting, maintaining in a container, or for including in a tropical or “white” garden.
