Hebe Caledonia is a smaller variety Hebe and features lovely foliage and flowers. The new foliage emerges an intense purple colour and ages to take on dark green overtones. Clusters of showy, violet-coloured flowers complement the foliage during summer and autumn as it grows to 60 cm tall and the same wide. Hebe Caledonia looks most effective when planted in clusters and is commonly included in a mixed planting, used in borders, planted around outdoor living areas, maintained in a container, or added to a cottage garden.

Caledonia Hebe

The Caledonia Hebe is a smaller variety Hebe and features lovely foliage and flowers. The new foliage emerges an intense purple colour and ages to take on dark green overtones. Clusters of showy, violet-coloured flowers complement the foliage during summer and autumn. It typically grows to 60 cm tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of frost, cool climates, moderate wind, dry periods, and coastal conditions. The Caledonia Hebe looks most effective when planted in clusters and is commonly included in a mixed planting, used in borders, planted around outdoor living areas, maintained in a container, or added to a cottage garden. It is also well suited to being mass planted on a bank or the like.
