These are borne above the small and glossy, green foliage as it grows to 1 m tall and the same wide. This evergreen shrub typically grows to 1 m tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of frost, cool climates, moderate wind, dry periods, and coastal environments. Hebe Mauve looks most effective when planted in clusters and is commonly included in a mixed planting, used in borders, planted around outdoor living areas, or added to a cottage garden. It is also well suited to being mass planted on a bank or the like.
