Hebe Dobbies Delight is a lovely variety owing to its foliage and flowers. Masses of dark pink-purple flower spikes are produced through summer and autumn. These are held above the lush and rounded, glossy, dark green foliage. It grows with a somewhat rounded shape to about 1 m tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of frost, cool climates, moderate wind, dry periods, and coastal conditions. Hebe Dobbies Delight is commonly included in a mixed planting, planted around outdoor living areas, maintained in a container, or added to a cottage garden. It is also well suited to being mass planted on a bank or the like.
