Veronica evenosa is a NZ native shrub grown for its lovely foliage and flowers. It grows as a dense and rounded plant carrying small and glossy, mid-green leaves held densely on short stems. The foliage is complemented during autumn with produces clusters of white flowers which are quite impressive. It typically grows to 1.5 m tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained site. It is frost hardy and tolerant of both coastal environments and short periods of dry. Veronica evenosa looks most effective when planted in clusters and is commonly included in a mixed planting, used in borders, planted around outdoor living areas, maintained in a container, or added to a cottage garden.
