Hebe hectorii grows as a rounded shrub with stout branches hosting yellow-green leaves which are held tightly. The foliage is complemented with small, white flowers which are borne in dense clusters at the branch tips during summer as it grows to 50 cm tall and the same wide. Hebe hectorii is ideal for including in mixed and border plantings, mass planting on a bank, planting around the base of trees and large shrubs, or including in modern gardens for its structured appearance to complement the architecture.

Veronica hectorii

Veronica hectorii is grown for its interesting foliage. It grows as a rounded shrub with stout branches hosting yellow-green leaves which are held tightly against the stem to give an overlapping appearance. The foliage is complemented with small, white flowers which are borne in dense clusters at the branch tips during summer. It typically grows to 50 cm tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained site. It is frost hardy and will tolerate coastal conditions, dry periods, and cool climates. Veronica hectorii is ideal for including in mixed and border plantings, mass planting on a bank, planting around the base of trees and large shrubs, or including in modern gardens for its structured appearance to complement the architecture.
