Whipcord Hebe

Hebe laingii is a whipcord Hebe that grows as an erect, bushy, evergreen shrub to about 30 cm tall and 60 cm wide. It carries minute, yellow-green leaves that are clasped tightly around short stems. Small but elegant white flowers are produced at the branch tips in summer. Hebe laingii is ideal for including in mixed plantings, mass planting as a groundcover, including in borders, planting around the base of trees and large shrubs, or including in pool and modern gardens.

Hebe laingii is a whipcord Hebe that grows as an erect, bushy, evergreen shrub to about 30 cm tall and 60 cm wide. It carries minute, yellow-green leaves that are clasped tightly around short stems. Small but elegant white flowers are produced at the branch tips in summer. Best performance with this plant is achieved when planted in full sun on a well-drained site. It is frost hardy and will tolerate coastal environments, dry periods, and cool climates.
