Hebe ‘Lavender Lace’ is a variety of Hebe that grows as a bushy, evergreen shrub to about 1.5 m tall and the same wide. It carries green leaves held densely, along with pale lavender flowers from summer through autumn. The flowers fade to white with age which adds to the display. This NZ native variety grows best when planted in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site, and is tolerant of frost, coastal conditions, cool climates, and dry periods. Hebe ‘Lavender Lace’ is commonly included in a mixed planting, added to cottage gardens, maintained in a container, planted around outdoor living areas, or mass planted on a bank or the like for a very effective display.
