Hebe Sunstreak is a fast growing, NZ native shrub that features variegated foliage and pretty flowers. It grows with a dense and busy habit producing foliage that is variegated with dark green and cream. Through summer it bears spikes of long, lilac-blue flowers which are spectacular in their own right. It typically grows to 80 cm tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It will not grow well in shaded positions but tolerates coastal conditions, dry periods, and light frost. Hebe Sunstreak is commonly included in mixed plantings, maintained in a container, or planted anywhere the beauty of this plant can be appreciated.
