Hebe Winter Gold features lovely form and foliage. The leaves on this NZ native predominantly yellow but darker green towards the centre of the plant which results in the plant often having dual colouring. The leaves are densely packed on short, slender stems and complemented through spring with sprays of small, white flowers as it grows to about 60 cm tall and 1 m wide. Hebe Winter Gold is commonly added to a mixed planting, used in borders, planted around outdoor living areas, used in cottage gardens, or mass planted either on a bank or as a groundcover.

Winter Gold Hebe

The Winter Gold Hebe features lovely form and foliage. The leaves on this NZ native predominantly yellow but darker green towards the centre of the plant. This results in the plant often having dual colouring. The leaves are densely packed on short, slender stems and complemented through spring with sprays of small, white flowers. It grows with a rounded, bushy habit to about 60 cm tall and 1 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of frost, coastal conditions, dry periods, and some wind. The Winter Gold Hebe is commonly added to a mixed planting, used in borders, planted around outdoor living areas, used in cottage gardens, or mass planted either on a bank or as a groundcover.
