This evergreen typically grows to 60 cm high and 1 m wide bearing spear-shaped, mid-green, glossy foliage. The foliage is complemented with showy spikes of white-mauve flowers from summer through autumn. Hebe Wiri Splash is commonly included in a mixed planting, included in borders and cottage gardens, or used in rock gardens. It also suits being mass planted on bank or as a groundcover and in both instances affords a lovely display.

Hebe Wiri Splash is compact, NZ native shrub grown for its brilliant flowering and compact habit. This evergreen typically grows to 60 cm high and 1 m wide bearing spear-shaped, mid-green, glossy foliage. The foliage is complemented with showy spikes of white-mauve flowers from summer through autumn which are great for attracting bees and butterflies. Best results with this plant are achieved when it is grown in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is a hardy plant and will tolerate cool climates, dry periods, coastal environments, and frost, though protection from heavy frost is recommended. Hebe Wiri Splash is commonly included in a mixed planting, included in borders and cottage gardens, or used in rock gardens. It also suits being mass planted on bank or as a groundcover and in both instances affords a lovely display.
