Hibiscus Apricot Chiffon is grown for its lush foliage and pretty flowers. The ruffled flowers are apricot orange with a red centre, and are produced through summer and autumn off upright, slender branches. The lush, green foliage provides a pleasant back drop and additional interest to this plant. It typically grows to 1.5 m tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of short periods of dry as well as light frost once established. In cool climates it may become partially deciduous during winter.
