These are held off upright, slender branches which also hosts glossy green leaves as it grows to 1.5 m tall and the same wide. Hibiscus Gem is grown for its showy flowers. The single, bright orange flowers have a papery appearance and are produced through summer and autumn off upright, slender branches which also hosts glossy green leaves. It typically grows to 1.5 m tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of short periods of dry as well as only very light frost once established. In cool climates it may become partially deciduous during winter.
