Madonna Hibiscus

The Madonna Hibiscus is grown for its large and showy flowers. The stunning, white flowers with a red centre are borne constantly through summer and autumn off upright, slender stems. The stems also host glossy, dark-green leaves which contrast with the flowers beautifully. It typically grows to 1.5 m tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, semi-sheltered site. It is tolerant of short periods of dry as well as moderate frost. In cool climates it may become deciduous or partially deciduous during winter.
