It typically grows to 2.5 m tall and 2 m wide, and can be trimmed as necessary. This Rose Of Sharon variety performs best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of moderate frost but should be protected while it is establishing. In cool climates it may become partially deciduous during winter.
