Agnes Pavelli Hydrangea

The Agnes Pavelli Hydrangea is a mop head variety that produces large balls of pure white flowers through summer and autumn. The flowers literally transform the plant and are complemented with large and lush, dark green leaves. It grows as a multi-stemmed, deciduous shrub with a rounded form to about 1.5 m tall and the same wide and can be trimmed as necessary. Best results with this variety are achieved when it is grown in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, sheltered site with a slightly acidic soil. It is hardy to cool climates, frost, and short periods of dry. The Agnes Pavelli Hydrangea is a great variety for including in a mixed planting, maintaining in a container, using as an informal hedge, using in “white” gardens, or planting as a backdrop for smaller plants.
