Hydrangea alba, Hydrangea coacta, Hydrangea glabripes, Hydrangea kawakamii, Hydrangea oblongifolia, Hydrangea pubescens
Hydrangea aspera produces large and showy flower heads that are pink with a centre of blue florets. These are borne from summer through autumn and sit perfectly above the dark green foliage. It grows to about 1.2 m tall and the same wide. Hydrangea aspera is a great variety for adding to a mixed planting, maintaining in a container, including in a cottage garden, or for planting around an outdoor living area.
