Hydrangea Charming Details

Hydrangea Charming is a bigleaf variety that features stunning clusters of dual coloured dark pink and white flowers through summer and autumn. The prolific flowering literally transforms the plant. The foliage is lush, dark green, and has an appeal of its own. It grows as a multi-stemmed, deciduous shrub with a rounded shape to about 1 m tall and the same wide and can be trimmed as necessary. Best results with this variety are achieved when it is grown in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, sheltered site with a slightly acidic soil. This Hydrangea is hardy to cool climates, frost, and short periods of dry. Hydrangea Charming is a great variety for mixed plantings, planting around larger trees, maintaining in a container, or growing as an informal hedge. It also makes for a lovely backdrop for smaller plants, planting around outdoor living areas, or for using to contrast with other leaf forms and flower colours.
