Hydrangea ‘Fuji Waterfall’ features large flowers head made up of white flowers set amidst white florets. The interesting flowers age to blue. These are produced from summer through autumn and are complemented by large, green leaves that sit perfectly with the flowers. It grows as a multi-stemmed, deciduous shrub with a rounded shape to about 1 m tall and the same wide, though can be trimmed as necessary. Best growth is achieved when it is planted in full sun or partial shade position on a well-drained, sheltered site with a slightly acidic soil. This Hydrangea is hardy to cool climates, frost, and short periods of dry. Hydrangea ‘Fuji Waterfall’ is a great variety for mixed plantings, underplanting larger trees, growing in a container, as an informal hedge, as a backdrop for smaller plants, or using to contrast with other leaf forms and flower colours.
