Hydrangea macrophylla Alba features large and showy balls of crisp white flowers through summer and autumn. These are complemented with lush, dark green leaves that contrast perfectly with the flowers. It grows as a multi-stemmed, deciduous shrub with a rounded form to about 1.5 m tall and the same wide and can be trimmed as necessary. Best results with this variety are achieved when it is planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained soil that is slightly acidic.
