Iberis Mauve Ice, commonly known as Candytuft, is an evergreen shrub grown for its spectacular flowering. Fragrant, soft, light mauve flowers are produced in abundance through spring and summer. The proliferation literally transforms the plant and attracts both birds and insects. It carries dark green foliage which provides the plant with a textured appearance and typically grows to 40 cm tall and 60 cm wide. This variety performs best when planted on a well-drained site in full sun, protected from strong winds, and it is tolerant of cool climates though young plants should be protected from frost.
