Lavender viridis
Lavandula viridis is a species of Lavender grown for its unusual flower heads. Spikes of small, green-yellow flowers rise above the foliage during spring and summer. The foliage is green-grey and tends to merge with the flowers as it grows to 75 cm tall and the same wide. Lavandula viridis is commonly used in cottage gardens, included in mixed plantings and borders, trimmed into a hedge, or grown in a container. A mass planting gives a truly dramatic display.
