The foliage is grey-blue and contrasts nicely with the darker flowers as it grows to 60 cm tall and the same wide. Lavandula My Choice is commonly used in cottage gardens, included in mixed plantings and borders, trimmed into a hedge, or grown in a container. A mass planting gives a truly dramatic display.

Lavandula My Choice Details

Lavandula My Choice is a French Lavender variety that grows as a compact shrub and bears masses of short, intense purple flower spikes from spring through summer. The foliage is grey-blue and contrasts nicely with the darker flowers. Both the flowers and foliage produce a lovely aroma when cut. This evergreen shrub typically grows to 60 cm tall and the same wide, performing best when planted on a well-drained site in full sun. It is a hardy plant that will tolerate dry conditions but does require protection from hard frosts when young. Lavandula My Choice is commonly used in cottage gardens, included in mixed plantings and borders, trimmed into a hedge, or grown in a container. For hedging space plants 30 cm apart. A mass planting gives a truly dramatic display.
