Leptospermum Centaurus
Leptospermum Centaurus is a shrub grown for both its foliage and flowers. It produces masses of light pink flowers with a maroon centre with the outer petals having a dark rim during spring and summer. The foliage comprises small, dark green leaves which carry a red hue as it grows to about 1.5 m tall and the same wide. Leptospermum Centaurus is commonly included in mixed plantings, used for screening, shelter, hedging, as backdrop for smaller plants, or planted to attract native fauna. The fine foliage and floriferous nature of this shrub makes it a fine addition to any garden.
