“Copper Sheen” is an Australian native that bears both attractive foliage and flowers. The leaves are small, copper coloured, and produced on upright branches that have a gentle arch. Small and showy, white flowers are produced in abundance through summer. It grows broad and upright to about 3 m tall and 2 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained site. This hardy plant will tolerate dry periods, coastal environments, frost, and moderate wind. “Copper Sheen” is commonly used for screening, hedging, and shelter, but also makes for a spectacular show when used as a backdrop smaller plants or included in a mixed planting.
