Leptospermum Kea, Leptospermum nanum Kea
Leptospermum Kea is a small shrub that produces masses of exquisite, pink flowers with a dark centre from spring through summer. The flowers literally blanket the plant. The foliage consists of small, dark green leaves which are held densely and give off a pleasant fragrance on warm days or when brushed against as it grows to 50 cm tall and the same wide. Leptospermum nanum Kea is commonly included in a mixed planting, used in borders, planted around outdoor living areas, mass planted on a bank or as a groundcover, or simply maintained in a container.
